Its incredible, just that, talking about weird firewalls, just think in a mix between ZoneAlarm and Conseal, and thats AG, a damn good firewall, wich uses rules to block/allow stuff in your computer It has wizards that make everything so smooth, that you will be totally protected before you can even know, it even blocks advertising cookies, etc, excellent for browsing certain pages The first time you start the FW, it takes loong, but dont worry, thats only the first time, after that first time, the program starts fast. The AG is always in 'learning mode' that is, it will ask you what to do each time it find something that is not ruled, after letting you choose between "always" and "only now", if you pick "always" it will start the rule wizard, wich lets you choose exactly what to do, if you found a program that tries to acces the net, and you wish to "always allow" it ask if it should allow only that service (eg: port 80) or any service, and if it should be only for that ip, or any ip, and if any program can use that service, etc, damn good yes, but this can carry some problems, if you dont think wisely before (you can modify the rules anyway, so dont worry THAT much), example, i tested with info-x, and allowed the browser to accept anything from it, but then, because the server was the same, it never detected the port scan, since i allowed indirectly when i choosed to accept anything from that server :) The program opens in a quickbar (not THE, another one), and shows the statics for what it allowed/blocked for each part, adv, cookies, FW, it even has a "connection list" wich shows wich programs called the net, and how much packets send/received, and how long since that operation! The logging of this program is wonderful, i still want to see if you can copy ip's, but heck, you can see everything here, ip, server, time service, program that used it (else is N/A), etc, giving even a connection graph, for seeing how much you sent/received and locked/allowed.
